		<description>The comeback is that it isn&#039;t atheism (an atheistic deity??), it&#039;s Alethianism. Which just goes to show that atheism ceases to be atheism when you try and make it into a religion.



Atheism is a religion the way silence is a noise or good health is a disease.</description>

		<description>The great thing about having Reality as your God is that it really doesn&#039;t care much one way or another how much or how little of it you worship, so you&#039;re perfectly free to single out just those bits you do like, or even to skip worship altogether.



I think all those other gods must suffer from &lt;i&gt;terrible&lt;/i&gt; self-esteem problems, the way they seem to crave validation and affirmation from their followers.</description>

If I were to worship it would have to be something uplifting —couldn&#039;t you have opted for Sex as divinity, or Rum, or even potato chips?</description>
