Prove to me that you're divine- Change my water into wine That's all you need do, And I'll know its all true Come on King of the Jews And that pretty much just stops the conversation, right there. Whenever I hear this kind of sneering complaint — “Well, you wouldn’t accept any evidence anyway!” — I just start singing King Herod’s Song from Jesus Christ Superstar:

So you’re the Christ,

You’re the great Jesus Christ!

Prove to me that you’re divine-

Change my water into wine
